Traditional Braces

Silver-colored metal braces are the most common recommendation for orthodontic treatment, and it’s not hard to understand why. Their durability, affordability, and effectiveness makes them a great choice for younger and older patients alike.

Traditional braces consist of metal brackets bonded to the front of each tooth. Orthodontic wires are attached to them, which exert the pressure needed to move the teeth towards their ideal position. Elastics are also placed around brackets, and they’re available in several different bright colors so children have fun expressing their personality through their unique choices and combinations. Subtler colors like silver and white can be used for adults who want a more neutral appearance.

Tooth-Colored Braces

If you’re in the market for a more discreet orthodontic solution, tooth-colored braces are a perfect blend of effective treatment and cosmetic quality. Instead of noticeably silver brackets, Dr. Oyler uses more advanced materials like ceramic and plastics to create a virtually seamless appearance against your natural teeth. Better yet, their self-ligating nature means that no noticeable elastics are required. Our team gives your archwire a more subtle color as well.

Invisalign® Clear Braces

Many patients are surprised when they learn that brackets and wires aren’t always necessary to achieve a beautifully straight smile – in fact, Invisalign only uses a series of simple, clear aligners! By wearing each one for a certain period of time and attending brief checkups with Dr. Oyler, you can smoothly move your teeth into their ideal positions. The aligners are also removable, which means  you can continue to practice your regular oral hygiene routine and eat your favorite foods.
