E4D Machine
In conventional dentistry, it often takes two office visits to restore a single tooth. However, with the E4D Dental System, we are able to design, fabricate, and place a ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer in one visit. Instead of having to wear a temporary restoration for weeks and then return for another appointment, you can get the final restoration all in one day. Basically, this means that you’ll spend less time in our office.
The E4D System digitally scans the damaged tooth and allows our team to design the final restoration immediately. Then, it sends the design to our in-office milling station where a precise restoration is created within minutes. CAD/CAM Same-Day Crowns
Other industries have used computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) for years. In dentistry, this technology allows us to take a digital scan of a tooth that needs a crown. We can then use the data from the scan to generate a unique design for a custom crown. We can also create a blueprint and guidelines for manufacturing the crown with our milling machine. With CAD/CAM technology, we are able to create precise and custom crowns, inlays, and onlays in just one visit.
