Brian C. Oyler, DDS
Dr. Oyler graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati and went on to attend Indiana University’s School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. He completed his doctor of dental surgery degree in 1994 and started practicing dentistry in Lawrenceburg that same year. He began as Dr. Ford's associate but soon found himself partnered with the soon-to-retire veteran of dentistry. Dr. Ford opened the Lawrenceburg practice in 1977. Twenty years later, he placed many loyal patients in the hands of his qualified apprentice. Dr. Oyler spends countless hours researching modern dental tools and techniques so he can provide patients up-to-date, quality dental care. His dedication to continuing education enriches our practice and keeps us on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Dr. Oyler completed the continuum at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education, he is an Invisalign® certified dentist, and earned Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Oyler has completed extensive training with Mid-Continent Orthodontics to provide patients Comprehensive Orthodontics care.

Dr. Oyler is a native of Indianapolis. When Dr. Oyler's not practicing or studying dentistry, he enjoys outdoor activities including waterskiing, wakeboarding, backpacking, and mountain climbing. He also likes watching Xavier basketball games, but he is first and foremost a family man and enjoys nothing more than relaxing with his children.
Dr. Allison Bleser Shartzer, DDS
Dr. Allison Bleser Shartzer, D.D.S. graduated from St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio before continuing her education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating, she completed dental school at The Ohio State University and has been working in dentistry for six years. She says, “My favorite part of dentistry is restoring smiles by combining science, health, art, and compassion. I also enjoy building relationships with patients and staff.” When Dr. Shartzer is not working, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and their two daughters. She also loves to be surrounded by people who try new things and enjoy laughter.
Janie Fehr, Scheduling Coordinator
For nearly forty years, Janie has offered our patients a smile, kind word, and all around warm welcome. Patients look forward to seeing Janie at their visits, and trust her to help them get the care they need. Janie is certified in CPR and OSHA safety policies.
Happily married to Dan, they have three children and three grandchildren. In her free time, Janie enjoys flower gardening, watching sports, and she especially enjoys dirt track racing.
Amy Armstrong, Dental Assistant and Team Leader
Amy has been an important part of our team since 1989, and has nearly thirty years of experience in the dental field. She loves working in an office where she has opportunities to learn about new technologies, and stay up-to-date on current dental techniques and technologies. Amy attended Vincennes University and the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, and studied dental assisting at the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology. In addition to being an expanded functions dental assistant, Amy has training in orthodontics, E4D, CPR, and radiology.
Amy is happily married to Keith, and they have two kids, Shelby and Kurtis. In her free time, Amy enjoys boating, camping, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Dionne Pittenger, Office Manager/Front Office Team Leader
Dionne has been working in the dental field for 15 years now, with 5 spent as a valuable member of our practice. Originally from Dillsboro, she attended Owensboro Junior college of Business and has training in CPR and OSHA. She loves the people she gets to work with and the patients she sees every day!
Dionne is married and has three children, as well as one grandson. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, being outdoors, doing home improvement, hanging out with extended family, and going to the movies. She also goes hunting with her husband.
Debbie Kinnett, Hygiene Assistant/Certified Dental Assistant
Debbie, who is now our Hygiene Assistant, has more than three decades of dental experience and joined Dr. Oyler’s practice in 1985. Debbie loves working with all of her patients, but she especially enjoys helping kids and seeing their beautiful smiles when they get their braces removed. In addition to being a certified expanded functions dental assistant, Debbie has certifications in radiography, orthodontics, and CPR.
Happily married to Dave, Debbie has two lovely daughters, and loves playing with her two grandchildren. She is expecting her third grandchild in 2016. Known to her coworkers as the trivia queen, Debbie is an avid reader.
Jessica Hyde, Dental Assistant
Jessica is new to our practice and to the dental field as of 2015, and has greatly enjoyed getting to know patients and help them with any procedure. Jessica studied dental assisting at the Institute of Dental Technology, and is licensed in E4D, orthodontics, and has her x-ray license.
A Lawrenceburg native, Jessica enjoys living and working in her home town community. She was recently married to Nick, and enjoys spending time with her new husband, family and friends. She enjoys DIY projects, crafting, boating, hiking, and home decorating. She is a Reds fan and an animal lover. Prior to her career as a dental assistant, Jessica earned her degree in cosmetology and enjoys doing airbrush makeup.
Kayla Theising, Dental Hygienist
Kayla joined Dr. Oyler’s practice in 2015, and enjoys working with patients. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see patients’ smiles after leaving the dentist. Kayla studied dental hygiene at the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis School of Dentistry.
Kayla and her husband, Tyler, married in October of 2015. They enjoy being with family and friends and watching basketball. Kayla is the proud aunt of 15 nieces and nephews, and greatly enjoys spending time with her sisters, nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
Gretchen Hooker, Dental Hygienist
With nearly four decades of dentistry experience, Gretchen has been with Dr. Oyler’s team since 1988. Over the years, Gretchen has built lasting relationships with her patients, and they look forward to seeing her at each visit. Gretchen studied dental hygiene at the University of Cincinnati Raymond Walters Dental Hygiene College (now UC Blue Ash College). She is additionally certified to perform local anesthesia.
Originally from Milan, IN, Gretchen has two adult sons who both married in 2013. Gretchen and her husband Richard happily became new grandparents in 2016. In her free time, Gretchen enjoys quilting, crafting, traveling, and camping.
